This idea is a good thing that is being done for the troops that are giving their lives for the Freedom of our nation. We are also trying to help the nations who were under dictatorships for a long time. As a postal worker, I am glad to read about the help that is being given to our troops. I also remember the Vietnam crisis,in which the returning troops were SLAPPED IN THE FACE, by this nation. I also remember being called "DRAFT DODGER" to which I once slapped the person in the face. I stood my ground,but the person walked away, knowing that I hurt his pride.
Another well-reasoned post from a well-balanced individual - NOT! I doubt this person ever slapped anyone in the face, just as I doubt this person ever served in Vietnam. Just another angry war-monger who espouses violent behavior at every turn. The US is engaged in an immoral, religious war with the moslem world. Peaceful citizens don't want your fucking war and are tired of your violent rhetoric. I'm waiting for one of these "hawks" to say this kind of crap to my face so that I can beat the living shit out of them and score a point in the war against abject stupidity. Go to Baghdad, if you are so ready to fight, you lying coward. And stop trying to steal glory from real Vietnam vets.
