It is a pleasure to read about a Postal Worker who has managed to remain on the job for all these years. With the way the POSTAL MISMANAGERS treat the workers of today, especially the senior workers who due have longevity in the system, ia amazing & interesting. Here in the New york Metro Area, we also have several postal workers who have 50+ years of service. This was one of the many articles that I enjoyed reading, about a fellow postal worker who has attained the golden honor of the Postal Service. I am certain that many more workers would stay, if only managemrnt would show RESPECT to the workers. This is not done today, due to the fact that half of them want to climb the ladder towards STUPIDITY. I can safely say that several carriers have retired from the job DUE TO THE STUPIDITY OF THE POSTAL MANAGERS refusing to co-operate with the employees. Too those who want to work a good many years, I wish you the best of luck, as you will need it today, especially with the way these MISMANAGERS OPERATE.
I am impressed that the carrier has been working all these years and still loves his job, however if he started in 1959 as the article stated, that is 45 years not 50.
