Didn't ups and fedex just raise their rates.If the Post office wouldquit wasting money on to much upper management plus these idiotic stand up talk and shut down the machines for 10-25 minutes then turn around and call overtime when most of the time your walking around different areas and by the time you find one the overtime is over except at x-mas.Quit wasting money on sending out the same papers on the stand up talk and then renaming it.
Stand up talks cover management butts from lawsuits. About the postage increase, its about time. The Postal Service has been subsidizing bulk mailers with discounts for years. The cheaper the postage the more profits the bulk mailers make. Notice the Postal Service doesnt make any money on these mailers. These mailers should be paying their fair share of postage not ma and pa sending their first class letters.

The problem is that the deficit is so high thst whatever anyone needs in terms of money, it will not be forthcoming. When the postal service needednthe reform package in order to survive, the administration kept quiet, while everyone worked together,& now that is what will happen. The president then decided that postal reform had to wait due to the fact that he had no money for postal reform. The truth is that GEORGIE WALKIE BUSH is responsible for the mess that the Postal Service finds itself in at the present time. The rate hike will be the fault of the re-elected president who was elected for a second term. I hope that all who votd for Georgie Walkie pay their dues.

I'm slowly coming around to believe that Shrub will not try to privatize the Postal Service. If it wasn't for us, he'd have one less source to milk in his effort to keep the deficit from looking like the monstrosity it really is.
He not only raids our pension funds, but our surpluses too. All those billions would be gone in a privatized USPS, and he couldn't get his fingers on the cash. Then the American public would see the true scope of the deficit and realize what goobers they were to elect such an irresponsible moron.
