How Bush sees 'postal reform'
Postcom.org has posted what it says is a copy of what 'the White House told the House and Senate postal leaders it expected to see in a postal reform bill'. Most puzzling statement in the document is this:' The Administration believes that the Postal Service, not ratepayers, must continue to be responsible for its pension costs connected with military service credit for postal employees under [CSRS]'. (If the money doesn't come from ratepayers.....?) And given the ballooning federal deficit, the White House will apparently try to keep the USPS's overpayment of it's CSRS retirement liability.

instead of giving billions to third world countries that the people won't see... give the money to the people of the United States... It's ours and we need it!!!
If you are not one of those 5% richest people in U.S., don't expect George Bush give you any money. And, hold on to your wallet, George Bush want to take your money to give to his millionair friends. Watch out, more to come. God bless americans.
For those who work for the Postal Service and voted for George W Bush, you will now understand the mistake you have made.
The thing that caught my eye is the "flexibility" to change distribution. The APWU will basically be out of business as soon as all the operations are combined into 6 different regional areas. Letter mail will be done at each station and then shipped to one of the 6 areas where flats and parcels will be done. Job reduction will be approximately 100,000 clerks. Hide and Watch the next 5-10 years. Thankfully, I am out of here.
This is exactly what Georgie Walkie Bush was planning all along. THE TRUTH HAS FINALLY COME OUT. Now for those who voted for THIS JERK, I hope that you realized that you voted for THE RICH & NOT FOR YOUR JOB. This is the way georgie walkie is & he truly supports the wealthy over the MIDDLE CLASS & THE POOR, WHO MUST WORK MANY JOBS to make a decent living. GEORGIE WALKIE'S true color came out just as the CONGRESS was going into recess for the elections. I hope that everyone who voted for this ASSHOLE of a president, will realize that they will suffer for their decision. At the same time, those of us who voted for Senator John Kerry, will also be in the same boat, but the decision we made was a good decision in order for this nation to get back on it's feet & try to stop this deficit craze that GEORGIE WALKIE put this country in with the information that older that the hills. Every citizen will pay for what georgie walkie has done.
