Because APOs/FPOs, certified mails, and cheap international slow boat shipping has to be turned in at the USPS counter. But the money was made on all of them anyway. The rest fills up two package cars a day.

They bring their packages to the USPS( UPS;Fed-X;DHL;Airborne;etc,...etc,...etc...) because the idiots in climate controlled offices have declared that there are open rape rights against postal employees by establishing the single-piece-rate for the "final mile" concept. These carriers get the motherload of the shipping premium and then DUMP the undesirable parcels onto the postal service--keeping the gravy! This is espescially treacherous in the case of RURAL CARRIERS who are locked into bogus "evaluated" pay salaries! It their situation it basically equates to governmental confiscation of human resources without constitutional renumeration( enslavemant to free service).

The USPS bent over trying to get more business, and forgot that they have to serve UPS or Fedex like any other business. We just knew how to exploit the USPS better than the parcel consolodators, so we ran em out of business and we are now buying them up. We grow our business all at the USPS's expense. Its great to be a UPSer nowadays.

Well duh BS.You leeches are just exploiting the "service" the USPS has to provide to all in a "universal service" mandate. If this were a "for profit" company that loophole would have been closed as soon as it was tapped by your leech patrol. However, as a "service"(look it up & see how that differs from "for profit" as you always confuse those two) the usps is forced to give the same service to all.
BTW, if we were as bad as you say you all wouldn't be using us to do your deliveries. But deep down you know better, just can't deviate from the same five lines you always use though huh?

People always wait for the last minute to do their thing. I remember that my stepmother was the same way, no matter what had to be done, and it was her way. I also understand that people are also used to sending out things late & their relatives know this, so nothing is new. The best thing that I do is get everything ready early, & about two weeks before the holiday, mail everything out at the same time to arrive early. This way, I have beaten the annual rush, & everything arrives in time. Today, with just about everybody working, it has become harder to do the things that our parents & grandparents did years ago.

We USE you because we are able to reach customers that were using the USPS prior for the entire trip, we found a way to horn in on the lengthy journey that takes so long with the USPS at a price they found acceptable. We cut the corners by having the USPS do the costliest deliveries, sine the USPS has its grand mission and will spend $5 in fuel to deliver a $1.00 package. We do the profitable end and provide a better journey for the customer, who is obviously not concerned with timely delivery or else they wouldnt be using the USPS to begin with. Besides, they will use UPS for other deliveries, so thats more to pick up from a customer that is already using us. More packages, no extra pickups. We make it easy for you to deliver the last mile with a nice printed label, and if needed, a mapquest printout so you can find Billy Bob's shack. As UPS expands and grows you will see less and less of those packages. Better enjoy your Brown pennies while we give them to you, because WE hold the cards. Pride and an empty cash drawer is worth the drawer only.

Still,as always, missing the point BS.You think you at ups are so clever,HA,HA,HA! Thats a good one, you wish you were.As before(and before, and before)You are ALLOWED to use us as is any citizen or business because we are a universal SERVICE for ALL people in the U.S.
What part are you missing in this???
I realize you miss pats on the back and therefore must give them to yourself but geez, you all hardly stumbled on the cure for the common cold or anything!
