This typical. The employee is harrassed by the employee's and the supervisor or postmaster is to afraid to put a stop to it. Temp or not it does not matter, management did not do it's job. Retired Postmaster ( I did not have a logon to sign on) from Michigan. It's disgusting and the Postal Service defends it.
Since the jury foreman did admit that the letter carrier was hassled, & you claim that no law was broken, I wonder if the foreman would like to receive the same treatment from his/her co-workers. I am certain that the answer is NO, but what the jury foreman did not do was put on the shoes of Bonnie Jensen, & see if how they eit. If I was on that jury, The Postal Service would have paid some of the money she asked for, not everything as the service could & should have done. Here in Central New Jersey, a local union president did the same thing, and management allowed it. The then NALC PRESIDENT SOMBROTTO passed the buck to REGION 12, NBA, JAMES DOLAN, who accepted the word of the then local president Joseph Mooney. The carrier came back with the following remark, and here is the quote as follows, "IS THAT A FACT, JOSEPH J. FUCKNEY," and after a few times hearing this, Joe Mooney shut-up. Postal management did nothing. The JEWISH CARRIER who ws slapped in the face spoke against the NALC'S request for donationsto COLCPE, THE MDA, & JOINING THE UNION HEALTH PLAN. He still does it today & tells the new president his feelings, for which he knows that he can do very little to change the carriers opinion. THE TRUTH HAS BEEN WRITTEN. ENJOY THE READING.
And people wonder why things are screwed up. I can only hope that she is responsible for the payment of all the money she cost the Postal Service and the government with such a frivolous lawsuit. Give me a break. Well at least she can work it off in another 20yrs working for a place that agrravates the hell out of her. Tis a shame.

What do you expect in the Post Office? The Post Office is a CESSPOOL and everybody knows it.

This often happens between supervisors. Last year two of our female pit bull supervisors got into a spitting and shoving match.
