When the public sees that the Postal Service does keep the promise to refund the money, more people may switch to EXPRESS MAIL. I, as a carrier have advised my customers to check with the service to see if their destination is on the next day or second day delivery. Several have tried the EXPRESS MAIL ane were satisified with what I was telling them. The only complaint was that the pick-up would cost them additional funds that they did not want to spend. I would take them to the drop point & advised the patrons where the EXPRESS MAIL COLLECTION BOXES werw located. I never received any complaints from the patrons I advised on the EXPRESS MAIL BOXES ON THE STREET.
Give it a rest. USPS express mail has a higher failure rate than UPS or FedEx overnight services, and we charge less for 2 day service than overnight, not one high rate for both. The big mortgage companies are not switching to FEDEXPRESS mail any time soon, they would rather have direct FedEx service instead, and UPS is prefered to that. Express mail is a joke.
express mail is a big joke.as is the bozos in mismanagement who have a new casual trying to deliver the expresses and the poor guy cant even speak english.go figure? you cant make this $hit up!
It seems that we carriers or other postal workers forgot the 1997 UPS strike. During this strike, while FED-EX stopped it's guarantee of delivering their overnight mail, while the USPS EXPRESS MAIL WAS DELIVERED ON TIME. We showed the patrons of the Postal Service that we can do the job. Everyone was satisified with the job that the Postal Service had done, during the UPS strikeof 1997. Yes, we delivered all the mail that came through our system. The guarantee of ON TIME DELIVERY, is what makes our system A GOOD ONE, and the public knows this, which is why we still have some EXPRESS MAIL delivery that we took from the UPS strike of 1997. They are delivered by 12:00 P.M.

SUCKERS! UPS nor FedEx are giving any money back. Give that money back and kill your profits. Cant wait to see December's numbers.

Hey 10:57am: At least the Postal Service PUBLISHES their performance scores for the public to see. Why doesn't fedex or UPS do so - hiding something?
UPS express service is a joke! They cant publish their horrible express record, becuase quite frankly it sucks!
Typical ups.....advertise a guarentee and then deny payment when they fail.Their guarentee is worth as much as their "free" insurance. NOTHING!
