Before your pitiful bashing begins of your betters, I would like you to note that they completely ignore the USPS. They do because the USPS is not a factor. As UPS prepares to battle among titans it is clear in the industry that the USPS isnt even a player anymore. Now make your comments on how bad UPS is, and all that nonsense, but just remember that the USPS isnt even a player in this game anymore. YOU LOSE.

BFS, you need to stop pissing in your own coffee. It ruins your attitude for the whole day.

Now, go outside and try and make some friends, little guy.

Why mention the obvious ,USPS. The others were mentioned to see whom would be second, third, fourth, etc,etc...

The USPS market share in packages and overnight delivery is a distant fourth to the private carriers. The USPS likes to fool itself that it is king because they have a monopoly on little envelopes. The USPS is so proud of itself, but in reality the big businesses prefer the private industry.

"The USPS is so proud of itself."

BFS, you must be surrounded by broken windows in that glass you house you live in.

Your obviously not reading your own UPS'er magazine BFS. If you were you'd know the last couple of pages of the magazine always mention how the competition is doing and the USPS is regularly mentioned.

UPS had a horrible 4th quarter, and its stock got slapped way down! DHL is taking market share away from UPS big time! Looks like UPS will have to slice its prices just to keep up, or they will continue to lose market share! Not looking good for the big brown turd!

UPS shows extremely strong in Q1-05.

UPS allocated nearly $2B to buy back its shares at the last BOD meeting. Its price jumped when that happened...made the stock to pricey to buy back. Now a earnings shortfall announcement, a couple of downgrades...seems like a better price to pay to me.

Now the cynic in me says that Q1-05 will beat and that there will be a restatement some time in Q2 of Q4's income...won't beat, but will meet estimates.

You mean "sink" as in kitchen, don't you?

You mean "sink" as in kitchen, don't you? BS, you're killin' us. We wouldn't know WHAT to do with our time if it wasn't for you!!!!!!!

Like I said, you mailmen have mistaken a stock manipulation for something else.

USPS is not mentioned in the Forbes article because IT IS NOT A BUSINESS!!! It is a government service, period. Until this year I never saw a DHL truck in my state, now they are all over the place. UPS will need to improve in the customer satisfaction area, people I've talked to are very eager to switch away from them.

And they will come right back to UPS once the McDonalds rejects show what their service can do. Nothing. DHL is only slightly better than the USPS, and that is not saying much.

We have been told that there will be a major announcement within the next two months. Due to the consistent problems with the airlines and FedEx to transport our packages in a timely manner we were told that USPS and UPS will sign an agreement for UPS to transport packages.

Bs STILL doesn't understand the concept of Service vs. for profit. For someone who professes to be such a stock/business expert he can't seem to get a handle on this simple concept!Oh well we can all chip in and buy him a DHL coffee cup for his birthday right?
