Postcom's Gene Del Polito relays a rumor that the USPS will initiate an across the board 6% rate increase request in March 'with an eye toward moving the case to settlement' followed by an additional 5% increase to be filed in 2006. The Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers tells a similar tale.
