"They" don't know what they are going to do with the site? Bull---- Its already been mentioned that the money the property is worth far outweighs any building the USPS can have on it. It will be sold as the USPS has said.

This is only the beginning for these types of closures. This one happened a little sooner than expected. Some one let the cat out of the bag and the postal service had to follow through with this to save face. Couldn't say no, it won't happen and then within 18 to 24 months announce this closing along with several other closings, changes and consolidations.

Jack Potter has been the PMG since 2001 and the transformation plan is not dead, just slow to mature. Simple fact, there are more processing facilities than are needed. John Q. Public will not rise up if they close some of them. Hell, John Q., doesn't know how the mail gets from the mailer to the addressee, all they want is their mail and a post office that identifies with there community.

What about Nashua Nh PMPC closing or changing to L @ DC anytime soon ??????????

Nashua PMPC, operations could be moved. Look over the border to Massachusetts. There are plants in North Reading, Northwest Boston and Central MA PDC. This is too many, expect some shifting of operations. Plants will become specialized, with each having a primary function.
