The NALC has distanced itself from him, Potter and his subordinates keep right on trimming the fat, not giving this left-wing lunatic the time of day. After reading the article that the APWU wrote, I did a complete turnaround only because the part about James Miller III, happens to be fact, not fiction. The BOG would be very smart to keep Mr. BURASS as far as possible, like PMG Potter does. Mr Potter is doing the right thing in staying far away from DUMB BURASS, BECAUSE OF THE PERSON THAT HE IS. The letter carrier exam must be really easy to pass if you idiots managed it. Don't think we didn't see the tape of our president attacking our union. Just wait until NALC leadership crawls out the mailers' behinds and see where you are.
I have read the many attacks that The APWU has made about the Postal Service. I do not believe a word that Bill Burass says. It took him him 6 months to travel to Trenton, N.J., to see how his clerks were managing. The NALC President showed up the following Tuesday to see how everything was going. That is why I refuse to accept the word of Bill Burass, as an earlier remark did say the facts that I can agree with. Every postal union should work to see that the service survives for the future, not complain about everything that is not necessary, as is done by the APWU. Mr. Burass, when you can prove to me that you are able to lead your union, then I will withhold the comments that I make about you. These comments also come from your members who would love to see the UNITED FEDERATION OF POSTAL CLERKS return to their position before the advent of the NATIONAL POSTAL UNION, WHICH DID HELP MEMBERS, BUT MADE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SOLVE THEM.

He will tell you that he will cooperate with the postal board of governors and will then go the other way and demand and obstruct every move that can result in an improvement of the Postal Service and thus saving our jobs. He uses the same tactics the Democrats use to ensure that the board of governors look bad and to embarrass our President. As a result our craft (clerks) are disappering as fast as the blue states. Have you seen how the Mail Handlers are taking all the jobs in your P.O.? What is Mr. Burrus doing about that? Pretty soon you will either switch to the Mail Handlers' craft or you will be heading to the unemployment office.....And we can only thank Mr. Burrus for the excellent job he has done in exterminating our craft. After reading some of the comments on this board I can understand why there are so many complaints about letter carriers. You are the lowest common denominator in the Postal Service. Not a day goes by without a customer coming in to complain about how stupid their letter carrier is. How he can't seem to figure out that a 7 is not a 9. How he stands on their doorstep and writes out a 3849 without even trying to ring the bell to see if anyone is at home. How they don't ask for ID when delivering restricted delivery mail.
The types of people attracted to the letter carrier craft are generally very hostile and anti-social. The longer they have been in the craft, the more hostile, anti-social, and uncooperative they become. This blog proves it.
Bill Burrus got into the Postal Service the same way YOU did, only he probably got a higher score. There is no "affirmative action" in your score, except for the preference points given to crazy veterans who think they are supposed to shoot anything in sight anytime something doesn't go their way, and it usually involves some white male's sense of entitlement to something that he THINKS he is more qualified for than anyone else or because some woman bruised his ego.
