Postal unions address cutbacks

Budget cutbacks are accomplishing what neither rain nor snow nor gloom of night could do: making the mail late and a mailbox harder to find. That's according to officials with three unions, who charged yesterday that Postal Service cutbacks have led to slower deliveries and fewer collection boxes on Manhattan sidewalks.

What was printed in the Daily News is true. The cutbacks
were officially started back in 1980, when I worked the collection mail for overtime. This has been an ongoing thing since George Shulman was the New York Postmaster.
It has carried on to the now Postmaster, Vinney Malloy.
N Y METRO AREA VP, DAVID SOLOMON, has allowed this to happen, showing the public that the mail should be given to the carrier who comes to the office, instead of dropping it in the mailbox, as has been done for years. This is the STUPIDITY that the Postal Service is showing the BUSINESS COMMUNITY, & this is how the service is now run. Service is at it's lowest point from what I just read in the Daily News.
THE POSTAL UNIONS HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH TO THE PUBLIC THAT IT SERVES.
