Give it up. Reform the rates higher. Jack Priority, Parcel post, and media WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up. Leave the standard mail alone. We like that. Stamps for 1 oz mail? MAKE IT EVEN AT LEAST! .40 and .25 per additional ounce. Cut that odd crap out! Zone Express Mail! Abolish the flat rate envelopes! Zone it all! Now we talking some serious money.

The mailing associations have been pushing for reform, but the stalling tactics of the present administration has come out against it using the excuse that reform will cost too uch money. The white house wants the postal service to continue to pay for the military pensions for the retired military officers who now work for the postal service. THIS IS WRONG FOR ALL REASONS, but the white house does not see it that way. All americans must write the CONGRESS & ask their representatives & senators to pass the postal reform legislation which are HR-4341 & S-2468. If & when these bills are passed, we will have postal reform. Until that we all must wait & see what happens.
