So what? Raise the rates! When a BUSINESS has costs and bad debts on the rise, they raise their prices. No big deal. What are you afraid of? Its obvious the USPS is the red-headed stepchild of the govt. They are pissed at the USPS in general because its looking for handouts when there are more important things to pay for. The USPS takes in money from customers, so stop crying for money. Raise rates and pay for your stuff and the govt will pay you back one day. What are you going to do about it? Its not like you can SUE and get your money or send a collection agent. Its so funny watching the USPS have to beg the govt when it gets to act so high and mighty to everyone else. "HARMING THE USPS IN ANY WAY IS A GOVERNMENT OFFENSE! CANT SUE US IF WE HARM YOU, WE ARE PART OF THE US GOVERNMENT!" Yeah. I see which part. The part you sit on.
Now we know the truth about George Bush, He did not want the Congress to pass the postal reforms that the Congress passed in a bi-partisan vote of both committees. Now the white house tells the Congress not to vote for the postal reform bills as they did not want the bills to pass due to the cost of the reforms that the Bush White House does not want passed. The best thing is for the public is to tell George W. to take a hike, back to Crawford, Texass, where he belongs
