Hopefully, this is a sign of a trend towards more accountability within government (and quasi-government) entities. Sarbanes-Oxley may be the best thing since Gramm-Rudmann, which is no longer law but once upon a time it served to keep the congress from spending our country into the poorhouse.
If Gramm-Rudmann were still in effect, Bush and Co.'s incredible spending spree would be curbed significantly.
