Oh the beauty of automation eh?
We used to be able to do it with MORE 1st class.
What the hell is the excuse when there is LESS???

That lawyer was probably having one of the secretaries drop the mail off on her way home & not paying her for it anyway, is why he is so steamed.

This is nothing new with the Postal Service. I have nearly 40 years in the service and have seen many changes. The collecting of the mail was going on for along time but the patrons were never notified. The service just did what it had to do and that was that.
Now the final collections will be made by 5:00 P.M..
This is going on all over the states, but I rarely hear anyone complain. The only complaint I do get is that not enough mailboxes are on the street. The Postal Service is using the excuse that not enough mail is in the boxes, so therefore they are being removed from the street corners, as a safety precaution, which I believe is just an excuse to remove the boxes, and have the people leave the mail in their boxes or take their mail to their workplace & give them to the mailman when he brings the office mail, or go to the post office before going to work. This is what the HONCHOS at L'Enfant Plaza, SW want the postal patrons to do every day.

To the lawyer who is complaining: Just start your workday one hour earlier, and go home early. What's the big deal?

Just sounds to me like someone is having problems making their goal of 50% of the mail cancelled by 18:00!

Typical of the attitude among employees at the USPS: bitch about the paying customers instead of catering to them.

Go ahead and keeping talking shit about Wal-Mart employees, but at least they know how to respond to customers' needs, and Wal-Mart will be around long after the USPS has made itself obsolete. Think their pay is too low? Seems to me, the pay is exactly correct for most of the over-paid, belly-aching postal employees who post here.

Laughable, absolutely laughable.

12:17, Wal-mart got where it is because of low balling their competition on prices NEVER because of service. No one has ever shopped there because of the great service they get, that's what is laughable.

They do a better job than the USPS does, so you have no point and I'm still laughing at all you over-paid, sniveling little creeps that won't 'get it' until it is far too late.

Keep up the bitching!
