Think long and hard before you decide to flip the bird to the company that keeps you out of jail and off welfare. Let's just hope that you don't ever really need S/L and have to go begging to fellow rank and file for A/L as they sit laughing at you in a gin mill...... ....Oh that's right: "It's mine, they OWE it to me and I'll do as I please with it - even if it by not saving it, I wind up out in the street with my family. I'll just tell my wife it's MY money not yours. Tell it to Judge Judy - she'll understand. Right.
I for one am very glad we are able to save our sick leave. I have rarely used it over the years. I just returned to work after 4 months off due to a serious injury I suffered while I was off the clock. without it it would have been a serious financial burden.
Save your sick leave folks, you never know when you may need it.
I know there are people in my office that use it much more than they should and are not sick.
