Update: Changes to the comment feature



Update: A number of readers have told us that they can't access the comments feature using Internet Explorer. After checking with Disqus, we've made some changes to the site that should correct this problem for most users using version 8 or 9. If you still get a message telling you your browser isn't supported, check to see if you're in "compatibility mode". If you are, there should be a little bluish icon in the address box that looks like a sheet of paper with a horizontal tear across it. Click on the icon and it should turn grey. If you still can't see the comments after that, let us know!

The company that has provided our comments feature has decided to discontinue the service, so starting today we've switched to Disqus, the leading third party comment provider. Let us know if you run into any problems!

One issue that has come up involves comments posted from mobile devices. Disqus thinks the mobile version of the page is a different page altogether, so mobile users only see comments posted from mobile devices. We hope to have a resolution to that issue soon!
